Cynthia is the inaugural National Program Manager for the Women in Global Business Program – a joint initiative of the Australian Federal, State and Territory Governments.  Cynthia will speak on access to capital in the Asia region for women owned business.

Cynthia has developed, implemented and grown the unique Women in Global Business Program which empowers Australian businesswomen to scale-up their businesses by trading internationally.

Engaging a diverse array of national and international stakeholders, Cynthia heads up the program which has expanded the service portfolio and developed productive collaborative relationships with the public, private, not for profit and academic sectors. The Women in Global Business program has an impressive record of achievement in inspiring Australians businesswomen to international success.

Prior to this role Cynthia was the CEO of several firms in Australia, the UK and Hungary. She founded and developed a HR management consulting company in London and expanded its operations establishing branch offices across Central & Eastern Europe, ultimately growing to become the second largest management consulting firm in that region. In 2001, her company was acquired a US multinational after which she returned to Melbourne in 2002.

Prior to her international entrepreneurial career, Cynthia was a diplomat and posted as First Secretary to the Australian Embassies in Syria and France.

She is a regular presenter and speaker at conferences and seminars. She is Chair of the Victorian Multicultural Business Ministerial Council and sits on various Boards. Cynthia is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
