Gerry Davis leads CTPartners regional Technology and CIO practices, and is a member of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Practice. He has completed more than 350 C-level executive search and leadership consulting projects. Gerry has more than 18 years’ executive search and consulting experience and more than 10 years’ experience as CEO or in global leadership positions with major professional services, IT services, technology and digital businesses.

Before joining CTPartners, Gerry served for 13 years as a senior partner with Heidrick & Struggles. At Heidrick, his final role was Managing Partner of Global Practices where he led their global executive search business. Earlier Gerry led both the APAC and ANZ businesses through unprecedented growth to clear market leadership. At Heidrick, he also held APAC responsibility for their Technology, Professional Services and CIO Practices.

Prior to Heidrick, Gerry was an executive director with Russell Reynolds Associates having earlier led and served on the Boards of a number of Australian IT services, internet and consulting businesses owned by IBM, Lend Lease, Telstra and Microsoft. Gerry started his career with the Royal Australian Navy and later worked with Booz Allen & Hamilton, PA Consulting and the AFP Group.

Gerry has authored many articles on emerging leadership issues and trends and is a co-author with Stephen Langton of Redefining Leadership: Competing in Asia in the 21st Century (John Wiley & Son, 2009).
